              Now, What is the principal of Escape velocity?

Everyone at some point of their life or even before in senior secondary had studied about escape velocity which is somewhere around 11 km/s. Most people think that if you reach 11 km/s you lift off and you will fly in space forever because you escape the gravity. Another misconception may be in your mind every time you launch the rocket from the earth surface we have to reach the escape velocity. It is not true, most of the time when the launch is at there, For example, if you want to launch a satellite into the orbit you do not have to reach escape velocity, you have just to reach somewhere around 5 to 6 km/s. On the other hand, if you have to do interplanetary motion. For example, if you have go to mars, in that case you have to definitely reach the Escape Velocity.

Now the things that most people do not understand, Let us say, if you reach 11.2 km/s you left the surface of earth. It is not like to keep flying away. You are going to leave the surface of the earth but still you are under the action of gravity of sun. You are going to leave the earth move along with earth and around the sun.                                                                                                             Now, oneimportant may be arising in your mind - How to leave the gravitational field of SUN? You have to reach 42 km/s. That is the escape velocity of gravitation field of sun from the earth surface. If you are on sun surface it is 600 km/s above, so definitely it is going to be most difficult thing to get out of even though you are capable of standing the heat over there. Right and what is the escape velocity from moon, it is just above 2 km/s that why it is very easy to land on moon and from moon to earth you are going to require very less fuel and that's why that did, In fact the moon mission they did, Coming back from moon is pretty simple. It is not going to need a lot of propulsion to do that.

Let's think togetherly What's happen if you don't reach Escape velocity? Suppose this is your lovely SUN, source of all the energy, Let us say this is earth revolving it has escape velocity of 11.2 km/s , you escaped the earth then going to moon If you escaped that also then you are going to be outside, but how far? Will you reach infinity. No reader, not yet, because a lot of people do not know this also, The Sun is not stationary, Sun is also moving, about what? About Milky Way galaxy. Sun is continuously revolving itself.

Okay, that is little bit confusing, let me increase the confusion level to little bit more. Sun itself is moving. Now, how is earth moving, suppose this is your motion right now. You are spinning around earth axis, you are revolving around the sun's axis, In this axis of sun, itself is moving, Is little bit mind blowing, But definitely easy to understand and that is I wanted to say all . Every things else can be explain by the primitive Newton's law, so it is probably, simples part of science.

So that’s why anyone can understand. Let us conclude that escape velocity of every planet is different.
