IMPORTANT UPDATE: From 1 November more 610 Sub-urban trains are started in INDIA

Indian Railway Minister named Piyush Goyal on Saturday announced that in Mumbai Railway from 1 November for daily more 610 suburban train are started.

Suburbans trains are passenger train which cover distance upto 150km. Through this type of train people can move within cities and suburbs.

INDIAN Railway has announced that Central Railway should start 314 trains more suburbans train. In this region, currently 706 train are running. Similarly, Western Railway to start more 296 trains for suburban areas. In this pandemic situation of COVID-19 INDIAN RAILWAY had decided to provide limited seats to their passengers on thinking about social protocols.

After, this action total 2020 suburban trains are running and 1020 train services on Central Railway. And, total services by Western Railway 1000 trains are running. Suburban trains are started to avoid crowding and to follow social distancing and many social protocols which were decided in this COVID-19 situation.

Railway had appealed to passengers from the start of pandemic situation that on the station and before travelling they should have Medical check-up and also to follow social protocols. They had also suggested their passengers not to believe in strange updates.

As you know in festival time train tickets are in waiting list everytime and this time also so RAILWAY had planned a new plan for this year.

In festival season passengers are not getting confirm tickets. Passengers are trying to go in Special trains even with waiting tickets in this COVID-19 and decided not to follow social protocols. While INDIAN RAILWAY is trying to come out of this situation.

Chairman of Railway Board says that to decrease the amount of waiting list we are decided to come up with more new trains. He also says that while trains are fill up with 90% passengers nowadays. But there are also some trains which are running with only 30% of passengers. While the Special Trains seats are completed with 100% passengers. On observing festive season Railway decided to come up with more special trains.
