● Press Release - Voluntary contribution of one day's salary of employees of ISRO/DOS [(Indian Space Research Organisation)/DEPARTMENT OF SERVICE)] to the PM-CARES Fund for the pandemic situation of CORONAVIRUS infection.
The ISRO is the space agency of government of India and its headquarters is in Bengaluru. As ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) is one of the famous space organisations in the world for reaching its success.
ISRO is more efficient and leading space agency on earth. Dr. Vikram Sarabhai is also known to us as the father of the Indian Space program. It was only his efforts and contribution which joins more intelligence person so that India can launched its first satellite.
This government space organisations has contributed sincerely from last few decades in the path of space journey in all sectors and got succeeded. Now once again it's has proved why it is called a great space organisation because this time this organisation had helped or contributed in the PM-CARES FUND for the pandemic situation of COVID-19. From the voluntary contribution of one day's salary of employees of ISRO/DOS, the department has contributed more than 5 Crores rupees to the PM-CARES fund. Reiterating (many times) the devotion of team ISRO/DOS to stand in solidarity (unity) with the entire nation in many different areas that they resolutely and effectively as well as togetherly to combat the global crisis precipitated by Coronavirus today, ISRO scientists are researching the best methods to provide essential medical devices that protect and help treat the victims of COVID-19 pandemic (global) in our country.

ISRO will design ventilators, oxygen canisters, make hand sanitisers for public which are caught in this dangerous situation and prevent others also. They would focus on designing simple equipments easy to operate ventilators, manufacturing of sanitisers, oxygen canisters and masks while putting on hold manufacture of rockets for further mission is what Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), part of ISRO, is trying hard to meet the emergency needs of the people and fulfil there needs in this lockdown.
