ISRO MISSIONS for FUTURE


Indian Space Research Organsation (ISRO) has planned 36 missions for the next two years, which also include important missions like GAGANYAAN, CHANDRAYAAN-3, ADITYA L1 and many more details are provided below.


To know more details on any specific mission comment your views. Here given below few missions which are planned for the upcoming years.

1.  GEO Imaging Satellite (GISAT-1):

This mission GISAT-1 satellite was initially planned or supposed to be launch on March 4 2020 this year. This satellite is India's first Geo Imaging Satellite (GISAT-1) launch has been pushed later due to technical fault in last minute on March 4.

2. Navigation Satellite with Indigenous Atomic Clocks and Indian Data Relay satellite System (IDRSS):


ISRO is planned to launch series of satellites under Indian Data Relay Satellite System with which they can be regularly and constantly in touch with Indian Satellites.

3. GSAT-20 Satellite With ELECTRIC PROPULSION:

GSAT-20 is an Indian geostationary satellite which is Ka-band high communications satellite which is built on 1-6k modular bus which is scheduled to be launch on July 31, 2020.
Earlier, chemical-based propulsion was in use but this time fully Electric Propulsion-enabled satellite which is five to six times more efficient.


4. ADITYA L1 MISSION:

ADITYA-L1 mission is planned solar probe to study the Sun's corona and its atmosphere and expected to be launch in year 2020 but we can observe this year there is pandemic situation of COVID-19. ISRO's is working from last few years on ADITYA L1 mission so that probe can study sun atmosphere which may be helpful for further mission.


5. GAGANYAAN MISSION:

GAGANYAAN  mission has budget of  10,000 crores which is India's biggest space mission. In this mission ISRO will attempt to send astronauts first time to space in December 2021 before 75th India's Independence in 2022. Astronauts are currently in training time in Moscow, Russia. 6. CHANDRAYAAN 3:

As we know CHANDRAYAAN 2 mission was not completely successful only moon orbiter was successful its lander named Vikram and rover part of mission become unsuccessful. Now this time, ISRO, India is again planned to launch one more moon mission named CHANDRAYAAN 3 with collaboration of JAPANESE Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). This Chandrayaan 3 mission aims to bring Moon soil and rock samples from the south pole of the Moon back to earth for scientific research for further mission.


7. MANGALYAAN 2:

Among this above important mission, ISRO is also steping forward on second mission to MARS, called MANGALYAAN 2. We know ISRO is only organisation which has reached to Mars in the first attempt while other country has failed many times to reach Mars. This mission was called MANGALYAAN or Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM). India is the first and only country to attempt this type of success. This mission is expected to be completed between 2022 and 2023.
